RESCUING ORPHANS
We are on mission to rescue orphans from one of the greatest orphan crises in Guatemala. Many of these children have experienced physical abuse, emotional trauma, sexual abuse, abandonment, and extreme poverty. Through safe housing, loving care, and the hope of Jesus Christ, we are committed to giving every child a chance to heal, thrive, and build a brighter future.
WHATS ACTUALLY HAPPENING
This short film gives a glimpse into the reality of what is happening in Guatemala and the work being done every day to rescue, care for, and restore vulnerable children. Behind every child is a story, and behind every story is an opportunity for hope, healing, and a brighter future.
Operation Every Home — Prevention Efforts
The Need:
In some of the communities we serve, families are living in extreme poverty and unsafe conditions.
What We Found:
In one home, we found babies literally sleeping beneath the floorboards because the family did not have a safe place for them to sleep.
Our Mission:
Operation Every Home exists to step in before a child becomes orphaned, abandoned, or separated from their family.
What We Provide:
We work directly with vulnerable families to help provide safer living conditions, practical support, and ongoing care.
Why Prevention Matters:
Sometimes the best way to care for an orphan is to prevent a child from becoming one in the first place.
Our Goal:
Strengthen families. Protect children. Keep families together whenever it is safe and possible.

The Reality
What We See:
Many babies and young children in the communities we serve sleep directly on dirt floors, concrete, thin blankets, or makeshift bedding.
Why It Happens:
For families living in extreme poverty, even basic items like a crib, mattress, or safe sleeping space may be financially out of reach.
The Risks:
Sleeping in these conditions can expose children to cold, moisture, insects, sickness, and unsafe surroundings.
Why We Step In:
These families are often doing the very best they can with very little. Our goal is to strengthen the home, improve living conditions, and help keep children safely with their families whenever possible.
SOME OF THE CHILDREN WE HAVE RESCUED
Jose suffered horrific abuse as a child. His stepmother would bite him as punishment, beat him with metal objects, and leave lasting physical and emotional scars. His story is a heartbreaking reminder of why vulnerable children need rescue, protection, and hope.
Jose is now in our care.
Tony and his brother were completely abandoned and left alone in a park for weeks, surviving with little to no food. With no one to care for them, they were eventually found and brought into our care, where they finally experienced safety, love, and hope.
They are now in our care.
These little girls endured unimaginable physical abuse at the hands of the very people who should protect them. Many arrive at our orphanage carrying not only visible scars but also deep emotional wounds that take years to heal. Through safety, love, and the hope found in Christ, we are committed to helping each child rebuild the life they deserve.
Cata and her brother were found abandoned in a park with no one to care for them. Alone, vulnerable, and forgotten, they were eventually brought into our care, where they found safety, love, and the opportunity for a brighter future.
They are now in our care.
IMPACTING A VILLAGE
CARING FOR THE WIDOWS
We are committed to caring for widows in the communities we serve by identifying those who are most vulnerable and ensuring they are not forgotten. Through practical support, home visits, food assistance, prayer, and ongoing relationships, we strive to be the hands and feet of Jesus, bringing hope, dignity, and care to those who often have no one else to help them.
REACHING YOUTH / YOUNG ADULTS
With suicide rates among teenagers and young adults continuing to rise, we are committed to bringing hope where it is needed most. Through our relationships with schools throughout the region, we have the opportunity to speak into the lives of students, encourage them, remind them of their value, and share a message of hope, purpose, and resilience.
REMOTE Villages
Surrounding the main village where we serve, we have helped build seven churches throughout the mountains. These churches serve not only as places of worship, but also as feeding centers and schools for their communities. We actively support, disciple, and care for each of these churches, helping equip leaders and bring both practical assistance and the hope of Jesus Christ to some of the most remote areas of Guatemala.
HELP US BUILD A VILLAGE
Each Family Home Will Include:
5–10 Children
Children will live together in a smaller, family-style environment.
1 Dedicated House Mom
Each home will have a loving house mom who lives with and cares for the children.
Supporting Women in Need
Whenever possible, our house moms will be widows or mothers facing significant hardship who need stable housing, purpose, and employment.
A True Family Environment
Our vision is not to create an institution. It is to create safe, loving homes where children can grow, heal, and experience family.
WHY WE FIGHT.
We Will Always Stand for the Forgotten
At 19 years old, I knew what it felt like to be in a place where your future could look finished and your story could feel defined by your worst moments.
But God did not leave me there.
That is why The Forgotten People means so much more to us than a name. We believe no person should be defined by where they are today, what they have been through, or what the world has decided about them.
Whether it is a child without a family, a mother fighting to keep her children, a widow struggling to survive, or someone whose life has completely fallen apart, we will stand for the forgotten.
Because sometimes the person everyone else has given up on is the very person God is still writing a story through.
