Because we’re located deep in Guatemala’s mountains, shipping can be expensive and complicated. In most cases, we can buy clothing and other everyday supplies right in our village for less than it costs to ship donated items to us.
That’s why we encourage financial giving. It allows us to purchase exactly what the children need locally.

COME TO GUATEMALA!
Our Open Mission Trips are designed to take you directly into the heart of what The Forgotten People is doing in Guatemala. You’ll serve alongside our team, spend time at the orphanage, travel into remote mountain communities, support vulnerable families, visit local churches, and see firsthand how God is moving throughout the region.

What to expect:
Hands-on ministry and service
Time at the orphanage

Space is limited. All participants must complete an application and required background check before final approval.

FULL TRANSPARENCY: We’re almost there!
These are our financials, and we intentionally keep them public for complete transparency. Please know that we do not collect any administrative percentage whatsoever. Every dollar given goes directly to support the orphanage and the work in Guatemala. Not one cent is taken to cover administrative costs.
We’re so grateful for every single person who’s chosen to stand with us in caring for these precious kids.
